Men earn a higher average salary for every inch of height.
An Australian study, which backs up previous studies from the United States and England,has found that each 2 inches of height equals 12 month of extra experience, or about $800 a year in extra pay.
The researchers weren’t sure if this was more about taller men commanding more respect, or shorter guys getting discriminated against. They did point out that fat people also used to get the salary shaft, but that discrepancy has disappeared now that so many people are overweight.(source)
